Even though he doesn’t know it, I think Devin Reams could be my new best friend.
After all, he’s the one who sent my my Joost invite. You know, the one I didn’t know that I had needed until after it was downloaded and installed on the computer? The one I was still sorta iffy about until I watched Rocky and Bullwinkle before I fell asleep last night?
I love Joost, and it’s only been twelve hours since I downloaded the client. It’s killing me to not have the window open as I write, because I could be watching more Rocky and Bullwinkle before I start work for the day.
I hardly ever remember to watch TV, which is just plain weird, I know. But, I spend so much time being bored online that it rarely occurs to me to pick up the laptop and move into the living room to catch a show.
(And yes, when people find out I hardly ever watch TV–we’re talking like an hour or two a week here, really–they think it’s amazing. I don’t bother to tell them it’s because I’m on the internet instead.)
So Joost is perfect for me, really. When I’m bored of the internets–which is happening frequently these days–I don’t have to get off the computer, I can just open up another window and get my TV fix.
I can’t wait until the Science Channel is added. How It’s Made, on demand.
