Dammit, I said Write, Woman!!!
Is that harassment enough? Or do I need to get all creepy, too?

OK, no creepy.

Just happy to hear you are doing well. Dumb question, but have you called and talked to the library about your fines?

In my experience they'd much rather have you checking out books that waiting because of too big a fine. I've often had fines completely forgiven, once I had all the books back, just because making money on fines is not what the library really wants to do.... the fines are just a deterrent to keep folks from keeping stuff too long. Worth a shot to give them a call and see what they can do.

Daniel: I've got fines to pay off as well. As it is, ME checks out books for me to read on her account, because I owe something like $40 for a stack of books that was late.

=) Glad to see you back. I've started reading fiction again and need to finally pay off some year-old library fines.
