No, I knew what you ment. Me and ME trade notes on the books we've read for the semester, and stuff. But, I'm just evil in the "let me see your paper because I'm going to write one just like it" way. I don't share with people who don't do the work on their own.

After all, I'm using ME's book for American Lit next semester, and she's got all her notes in the margins. Good thing she and I think the same way, or they'd annoy me to no end.

So yes, you can borrow my notes if you want to. :)

Ah, I didn't mean it that way. For instance, I've been slowly teaching myself Japanese and was mentioning it to an otaku friend of mine who i relatively fluent in it. He let me borrow all of his notes from his Japanese courses, and it's helped me tremendously.

This is even more useful in engineering courses. I'm quite certain that engineering textbooks are designed to never ever ever ever ever give you an answer, so you never know if you're doing it right. Old notes, homework and quizzes are a godsend!

Also, while somewhat dubious... having access to old exams from a professor can be quite beneficial to help you know the /kinds/ of questions and expected answers the professor has.

I just cleaned off my desks last night in a post-finals crash. It's nice to see the tabletop again. Now I just have to get around to implanting my old hard disks in my new server so that I can get /it/ off of my workbench...

Well yeah, there's that too... But I always give out the wrong answers, because seriously? If I did all that work, so do you. :p

Why would you ever need your old papers? Why in case a friend of yours takes the same course!
