Dustin bought me a dvd camcorder for my birthday, and my first outing for it was the birthday party for “Mr. Pokemon”1. Mr. Pokemon and I have the same birthday, although he had his party on Sunday instead.Between Dustin and I, we filmed probably about 45 minutes worth of film. A disk and a half, I believe. All this footage is what lead me to the most startling of discoveries. My camera doesn’t connect to the computer. So it was a long process to get it to the point where I can show some stuff off.
First, I had to download a DVD ripper, to rip the camera disk to the computer. Then I had to find a converter program to covert the ripped files to .avi files so that I could use the film editing program to actually edit the film. So, I’ve been working on this for a week or so.
Today’s clip is of Mr. Pokemon, doing his “nekkid” dance. We are unsure where he learned it, but it’s funny as hell when you watch it.
And by editing, I really did nothing. I just picked out the clip, which is in it’s entirety from when I recorded it. Dustin’s mom is the one laughing, Dustin is the male voice, and I’m the one who mentions that we’re going to save it for ammo when he’s 18. The other voice is either Mr. Pokemon’s mom or aunt. I can’t tell which.
So, there you go. And now that I have the routine down, expect clips to pop up here and there from now on.
