Sachi - Thanks for the kind response :) The only time I've really done public speaking was a speach class in college, and there we had to write out exactly what we were going to say.

I keep thinking about writing down major points I want to hit, but I constantly interupt myself. That's why podcasting is difficult. I'll start on one topic, and then deviate, and before I know it, I'm telling the story of how I got a knitting needle stuck in my arm.

Hopefully I'll get the next one up on monday.

LOL! I didn't yawn either. I think you did great!

When I was a kid, they put me in the "gifted" class which involved a LOT of speaking in front of others. My mom was great at helping me get through these things. I'm very good at speaking extemporaneously (I actually won a plaque for it my Junior year of HS and it hangs on my wall to this day) but, because I'm like OCD, short-attention-span-woman, mom helped me out. She had me write my major points down with a few bullet points below each so that, if I felt the urge to say "um", I could look down and segue into the next point.

The whole time I was listening, I started to get excited that maybe I could do my own some day... then I was envisioning my cheat-sheets from the old days that good ol' mom helped me make when I was a frightened 3rd grader.

Cheers!

lol, at least I know you enjoyed it. And I'm glad I didn't make you yawn. Still doesn't make up for the lack of hanging out. ;)
